00:20 पर चलने वाली train conversation वाली “रात” की date पर नहीं, ticket में छपी नई calendar date पर होती है। Midnight journey में mistake इसलिए होती है क्योंकि लोग “Tuesday night” याद रखते हैं, जबकि reservation system Wednesday 00:20 record करता है। Safe rule simple है—official ticket और schedule में दिखी boarding date और time follow करें।
00:00 से नई date शुरू होती है
भारत Indian Standard Time use करता है, जिसे CSIR–National Physical Laboratory UTC से 5 hours 30 minutes आगे maintain करता है। 24-hour clock में 23:59 के बाद अगली calendar date का 00:00 आता है। 9 October 00:20 departure के लिए station 8 October की late evening में पहुँचना होगा, लेकिन ticket की boarding date 9 October ही रहेगी।
Station पहुँचने और departure की date अलग लिखें
Late-night departure के लिए note बनाएं: “station पहुँचना: 8 Oct, train departure: 9 Oct 00:20।” इससे vague “आज रात” हट जाता है। यही line driver और हर traveller से share करें। Group में हर person से calendar date दोहराने को कहें, केवल weekday नहीं।
Train origin नहीं, अपना boarding station match करें
Train किसी दूसरी station से पिछली date पर शुरू होकर आपके boarding point पर midnight के बाद पहुँच सकती है। आपके लिए relevant date वही है जो boarding point के सामने लिखी है। Name के साथ station code भी match करें, खासकर जहाँ एक city में कई terminals या similar names हों।
Current schedule और operation check करें
Printed या saved ticket booked journey record करता है, लेकिन operational information बदल सकती है। निकलने से पहले official enquiry में train number, boarding date और current operation देखें। Train origin का departure देखकर अपना boarding time guess न करें और दूसरी date की screenshot use न करें।
Hotel और road plan में भी date साफ रखें
00:20 departure में hotel checkout पिछली calendar date और vehicle pickup midnight से पहले हो सकता है। Property से पूछें late checkout extra night माना जाएगा या नहीं। Midnight के बाद arrival हो तो exact date और 24-hour time बताएं, ताकि room no-show न mark हो।
Calendar reminder में केवल train time न रखें। Station के लिए निकलने का समय पिछली date पर set करें और reminder title में boarding station code भी जोड़ें।
