TML Financial Services Limited (TMLFSL) was set up in August 2006 as a 100% subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited. The Reserve Bank of India has granted Certificate of Registration to commence / carry on business of Non-Banking Finance Company on 9th August, 2006. TMLFSL aspires to be the preferred financier by choice for Tata Motors sales, its dealers and customers across all its products.

Tata Motorfinance is the service brand of TMLFSL, under which finance is offered to customers. Upholding the promise of trust, transparency in dealing and easy finance to suit customer needs, Tata Motorfinance is the largest financier of Tata Motors' vehicles, and the third largest vehicle financier in the country.

To make it easy for potential customers to own Tata Motors vehicles, we ventured into vehicle financing way back in 1957.

Today, Tata Motor Finance (TMF), the in-house financing arm of Tata Motors, provides a single window service to customers by being accessible to them through the dealers.

We strive to ensure speedy processing of contracts which are either cleared directly by the dealers or are approved by their field staff. The contracts are usually finalized within 1 to 3 working days.





2005-06 highlights

* A total of about 113,000 contracts booked, including refinance and Construction Equipment (CEQ)

* 96,247 new vehicles financed, a 43% increase compared to 67,356 vehicles in 2004-05

* Refinance business grew by 110%

*  CEQ business grew by 165%
